“SUPERCILIOUS" is receiving love around the world.  Aurora L. Threats (Dallas, TX) is the creator, writer, and Executive Producer of this award-winning internationally acclaimed short film.

The film is a beautiful story of a young Belle who was sidelined by her peers because of her socioeconomic class.  Belle didn't totally understand the challenge, yet she kept her head up.  She was winning, succeeding, and achieving because she never stopped dreaming.  She never neglected to believe in the power of "hard work".  She looked well beyond the negativity that could have been a hindrance to becoming a symbol of inspiration and hope for others. 

Supercilious has earned global recognition winning "Best Animation" in Paris, France. It's the "Official Selection" in both Ghana, Africa, and Toronto, Canada.  The film's empowering message is for everyone.  Let your hope, not your disappointments shape your future.  

Aurora the creator of this heartwarming cartoon is an actress, an author, a poet, an inspirational columnist, and a producer.  Aurora holds a B.S. Degree in Speech & Theatre from Grambling State University, Grambling, LA.  She also studied at Marla Gibb's "Crossroads Arts Academy" in Los Angeles, CA.  

During the pandemic, Aurora decided to take a quantum leap into film production.  She took her pen and from her poem entitled "Supercilious" - - a cartoon blossomed with its own voice.  It's a film that says a lot in a very short period of time.  Belle the main character boldly embraces emotional aptitude, optimism, and zeal. 

Aurora expressed her gratitude for being blessed with an amazing team of champions.  Acknowledging music composer Tony Clark (Austin, TX) for the magic.  His music composition bedazzles.  It makes watching "Supercilious" not only entertaining but an inspiration.  Together with Fulton Film Company, Fresno, CA and Fulton Film Company Ghana Limited, her vision has become this amazing international award-winning animated short film.
